As part of its international promotional efforts for the North American market, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, in conjunction with the Jalisco State Tourism Secretariat and the Guadalajara Visitors and Conventions Bureau, held “Jalisco is Mexico” seminars in the state of California.

The sessions took place in the cities of San Francisco, San Jose, and Sacramento, three strategic markets for Puerto Vallarta that have direct air connections to the Jalisco destination.
During the tour, more than 90 travel advisors received updated information about the port’s tourism offerings, strengthening their knowledge and sales tools in preparation for the upcoming fall-winter season.
As part of the program, trade shows were also held, featuring representatives from Puerto Vallarta’s tourism industry and strategic partners. These events provided opportunities to strengthen relationships with industry professionals and showcase the destination’s latest offerings.

The delegation included representatives from the following hotels: Barceló, Blue Chairs, Buenaventura Grand, Costa Sur, El Pescador, Hacienda Buenaventura, Hotel Eloísa, Hotel Rosita, Krystal Puerto Vallarta, Krystal Grand, Plaza Pelícanos, Plaza Pelícanos Grand, Posada de Roger, Sunset Plaza, and Villa Premiere. Airlines Aeroméxico and Volaris also participated, presenting their accommodation and connectivity options to attendees.
Puerto Vallarta offers direct flights to San Francisco with Alaska Airlines and United Airlines, and during the winter season, flights to San Jose and Sacramento with Alaska Airlines, facilitating access for travelers from Northern California to one of Mexico’s most important beach destinations.

El nuevo sistema de electromovilidad incorpora 19 unidades eléctricas, infraestructura especializada y una operación integrada; además, habrá diez unidades adicionales operadas por concesionarios.
El nuevo sistema circulará sobre el corredor Francisco Medina Ascencio con viajes accesibles, cómodos y eficientes, en beneficio de más de 9 mil personas usuarias cada día.

Contará con dos derroteros, la Ruta Troncal 2: Ixtapa – Centro de Puerto Vallarta y la Ruta Troncal 3: Las Juntas – Galerías Vallarta.
Con el objetivo de modernizar el transporte público y fortalecer la conectividad en uno de los principales corredores viales de Puerto Vallarta, el Gobierno de Jalisco puso en marcha el primer sistema de electromovilidad, que beneficiará a más de 9 personas usuarios cada día.
Operarán a partir del día de mañana, sábado 1 de agosto, de las 5:00 a las 23:30 horas, y durante este fin de semana ofrecerá servicio de manera gratuita, retomando el esquema de cobro por pasaje el lunes, 3 agosto.
Pablo Lemus Navarro, Gobernador de Jalisco, destacó la importancia que tiene Puerto Vallarta en la agenda de desarrollo del estado.
También destacó que se cumple un compromiso con las y los vallartenses, dado que este sistema de electromovilidad transformará el transporte público en este destino, prestando un servicio de transporte ágil, sustentable, eficiente y seguro.

“Es un sistema de transporte público, de lo más moderno del mundo, para Puerto Vallarta (…), y todo lo hacemos por el amor que le tenemos a Puerto Vallarta, estamos cumpliendo nuevamente con este gran municipio”, sostuvo el Gobernador del Estado.
El nuevo sistema operará a través del Sistema de Tren Eléctrico Urbano (SITEUR), en coordinación con la Secretaría de Infraestructura y Obra Pública (SIOP), y la Secretaría de Transporte (SETRAN), con 19 autobuses eléctricos —siete articulados de alta capacidad para hasta 120 pasajeros y 12 unidades de 12 metros con capacidad de hasta 85 pasajeros. A los 19 autobuses eléctricos se suman diez unidades adicionales operadas por concesionarios, fortaleciendo la cobertura del servicio de transporte público.
El sistema de electromovilidad de Puerto Vallarta es un modelo moderno, integrado y sustentable que contará con servicios como aire acondicionado, viajes más cómodos, accesibles y eficientes para habitantes y visitantes.
El proyecto mejora la movilidad sobre el bulevar Francisco Medina Ascencio mediante una operación con dos rutas troncales y una ruta alimentadora que conectan Ixtapa, Las Juntas, Marina Vallarta, Galerías Vallarta, la zona hotelera, el Centro Universitario de la Costa (CUCosta), y el centro de Puerto Vallarta.

Tendrán intervalos de paso de entre 5 y 14 minutos, y una tarifa integrada de 11 pesos mediante las tarjetas Mi Movilidad y/o Única.
Además, de manera complementaria el Gobierno de Jalisco también pondrá en funcionamiento una ruta alimentadora gratuita para que los estudiantes de CUCosta, puedan descender del sistema de electromovilidad y trasladarse sin costo al Centro Universitario o viceversa, con recorridos cada 5 minutos.
El mandatario jalisciense celebró que este sistema lo podrán usar desde habitantes de Puerto Vallarta que requieran ir a sus centro de trabajo a laborar, estudiantes, así como visitantes que requieran trasladarse a distintos puntos del Corredor Medina Ascencio, hasta el aeropuerto o la Zona Centro.
“Hoy demostramos nuevamente el compromiso de nuestro gobierno con Puerto Vallarta, con los estudiantes, con el turismo, con la clase trabajadora de Puerto Vallarta. Se los dije desde el día uno de mi gobierno, tengo un compromiso muy especial, muy importante con Puerto Vallarta”, explicó Lemus Navarro.
David Zamora Bueno, Secretario de Infraestructura y Obra Pública (SIOP), destacó que en las obras de infraestructura necesarias para el sistema de electromovilidad se invirtieron alrededor de 360 millones de pesos.
“En más de 5 mil metros cuadrados se colocaron diez estaciones de carga, se realizaron baños, oficinas, se pavimentó toda la zona donde van a estar estacionados todos los camiones, de este punto van a estar saliendo; y se hizo un cuarto eléctrico con la capacidad para que puedan, simultáneamente estarse cargando todos los vehículos”, señaló.
“De manera adicional, se hicieron siete paraderos nuevos, y se continuarán rehabilitando 12 (paraderos) más en todo lo que es el circuito de la ruta”, comentó Zamora Bueno. Amilcar López Zepeda, Director General de SITEUR, destacó la importancia que tiene este sistema para el Municipio y la dependencia estatal, ya que es la primera vez que la dependencia opera fuera de la metrópoli tapatía.
“Es un evento muy simbólico, porque es la primera vez que SITEUR sale a operar del Área Metropolitana (de Guadalajara), y qué mejor lugar que hacerlo en Puerto Vallarta. Para nosotros es un reto muy importante la operación de estas 19 unidades en dos rutas, que arrancarán su operación a partir del día de mañana”, dijo López Zepeda. Agregó que la frecuencia de paso de las 19 unidades del sistema de electromovilidad, será en promedio de 7 a 15 minutos.
“Hoy se ratifica ese compromiso que ha mostrado fuertemente el Gobernador, en uno de los temas más sentidos de la ciudad, que ha sido el transporte público. Esa palabra que fue empeñada meses atrás se cumple perfectamente con un modelo moderno de transporte moderno”, enfatizó el Alcalde.

Las nuevas unidades están equipadas con aire acondicionado, videovigilancia, iluminación LED, accesibilidad universal mediante piso bajo y espacios para personas usuarias de silla de ruedas, ofreciendo un servicio más cómodo, seguro e incluyente.
Además de mejorar la experiencia de viaje, el nuevo sistema contribuirá a disminuir las emisiones contaminantes y el ruido generado por el transporte público, consolidando el compromiso del Gobierno de Jalisco con una movilidad más limpia y sustentable.
La Secretaría de Infraestructura y Obra Pública (SIOP), ejecutó la infraestructura necesaria para la operación del sistema, incluyendo la construcción y adecuación de nuevos paraderos, así como obras complementarias que permitirán brindar un servicio más seguro, accesible y ordenado para las personas usuarias. En lo que respecta al patio de recarga y maniobras, los trabajos consistieron en la pavimentación del área, el balizamiento de 19 bahías, la preparación de la infraestructura eléctrica para las unidades de carga, la rehabilitación de la zona administrativa, la construcción del cuarto eléctrico, la habilitación de un comedor y sanitarios, así como la adecuación del acceso y la fachada principal.
Con la puesta en marcha de este nuevo sistema, el Gobierno de Jalisco continúa modernizando el transporte público del estado mediante soluciones que incorporan innovación tecnológica, accesibilidad, sustentabilidad y una mejor experiencia de viaje para las y los usuarios.

Ce nouveau système d’électromobilité comprend 19 bus électriques, une infrastructure spécialisée et une gestion intégrée. Dix bus supplémentaires, exploités par des concessionnaires, viendront compléter le réseau.

Le système circulera le long de l’axe Francisco Medina Ascencio, offrant un moyen de transport accessible, confortable et efficace à plus de 9 000 usagers par jour.
Il comprend deux axes : l’axe principal 2 : Ixtapa – Centre-ville de Puerto Vallarta et l’axe principal 3 : Las Juntas – Galerías Vallarta.
Afin de moderniser les transports publics et de renforcer la connectivité sur l’un des principaux axes de Puerto Vallarta, le gouvernement de Jalisco a inauguré ce premier système d’électromobilité, qui bénéficiera à plus de 9 000 usagers quotidiens.

« Il s’agit d’un système de transport public ultramoderne, parmi les plus modernes au monde, pour Puerto Vallarta.
Le nouveau système sera exploité par le biais du Système de Train Électrique Urbain (SITEUR), en coordination avec le Ministère des Infrastructures et des Travaux Publics (SIOP) et le Ministère des Transports (SETRAN), avec 19 bus électriques : sept bus articulés à grande capacité pouvant accueillir jusqu’à 120 passagers et douze minibus de 12 mètres d’une capacité maximale de 85 passagers.

En plus de ces 19 bus électriques, dix autres véhicules exploités par des concessionnaires viendront renforcer la couverture du réseau de transport public.
Le système d’électromobilité de Puerto Vallarta est un modèle moderne, intégré et durable qui offrira des services tels que la climatisation, rendant les déplacements plus confortables, accessibles et efficaces pour les résidents et les visiteurs.
Ce projet améliore la mobilité le long du boulevard Francisco Medina Ascencio grâce à un réseau comprenant deux axes principaux et une ligne de rabattement reliant Ixtapa, Las Juntas, Marina Vallarta, Galerías Vallarta, la zone hôtelière, le Centre Universitaire de la Côte (CUCosta) et le centre-ville de Puerto Vallarta.

Les bus circuleront toutes les 5 à 14 minutes, au tarif unique de 11 pesos, payable avec les cartes Mi Movilidad et/ou Única.
Par ailleurs, le gouvernement de Jalisco mettra en place une ligne de rabattement gratuite permettant aux étudiants de CUCosta de passer du réseau de véhicules électriques au centre universitaire et inversement, avec des bus circulant toutes les 5 minutes.
Dix stations de recharge ont été installées sur plus de 5 000 mètres carrés, ainsi que des sanitaires et des bureaux. L’ensemble de la zone de stationnement et de départ des camions a été asphalté. Un local électrique a été construit afin de pouvoir recharger tous les véhicules simultanément.
De plus, sept nouveaux arrêts de bus ont été construits et nous poursuivons la réhabilitation de douze autres le long du parcours.

C’est un événement très symbolique, car c’est la première fois que SITEUR opère en dehors de la zone métropolitaine de Guadalajara, et quel meilleur endroit que Puerto Vallarta pour cela ? Pour nous, l’exploitation de ces 19 véhicules sur deux lignes, qui entreront en service demain, représente un défi de taille.
La fréquence de passage des 19 véhicules du système de mobilité électrique sera, en moyenne, de 7 à 15 minutes.
Les nouveaux bus sont équipés de la climatisation, de la vidéosurveillance, d’un éclairage LED et sont accessibles à tous grâce à des planchers bas et des espaces réservés aux personnes en fauteuil roulant, offrant ainsi un service plus confortable, plus sûr et plus inclusif.
Outre l’amélioration de l’expérience de voyage, ce nouveau système contribuera à réduire les émissions polluantes et le bruit générés par les transports publics, renforçant ainsi l’engagement du gouvernement de Jalisco en faveur d’une mobilité plus propre et plus durable.
Le ministère des Infrastructures et des Travaux publics (SIOP) a réalisé les infrastructures nécessaires au fonctionnement du système, notamment la construction et l’aménagement de nouveaux arrêts de bus, ainsi que des travaux complémentaires qui permettront un service plus sûr, plus accessible et mieux organisé pour les usagers.
Dans le cadre de la première phase, le SIOP (Secrétariat aux Infrastructures et aux Travaux Publics) a réalisé les travaux de modernisation nécessaires aux arrêts de bus d’Ixtapa.
