Once again, the natural, gastronomic and cultural attractions of Puerto Vallarta attracted the attention of a major United States television network. This time it was CBS, which chose the destination to film an episode of Wine Oh!, a fun and informative program focused on wine culture, hosted by television presenter Monique Soltani.

Monique regularly travels to wine regions around the world, but on this occasion she visited Puerto Vallarta to introduce her audience to the great cultural, culinary and activity offerings that this renowned Mexican beach destination has.
Wine Oh! airs on KPYX (San Francisco), KCAL (Los Angeles), KCBS (Los Angeles) and KOVR (Sacramento), potentially reaching 56 million homes in said California cities that are connected to Puerto Vallarta through direct flights – including Sacramento, from where Alaska Airlines will begin flying next winter season -, in addition to having a YouTube channel for those who do not have the opportunity to see it live.
Monique introduced the episode with the following voice-over: “This little piece of paradise facing the Pacific began as a fishing village. Today, Puerto Vallarta is a world-class destination known for its culture, gastronomy and, of course, its very fun night scene.”
The host went beyond her typical vineyard coverage and this time she visited a raicilla distillery, a traditional drink from the coast of Jalisco. In it, she learned the traditional process of a family that has been producing this unique liquor for several generations.
