SEAPAL Vallarta launch Public Drinking Fountains . SEAPAL Vallarta will launch the first phase of the Public Drinking Fountains program, a strategy that complements the successful School Drinking Fountains program. This initiative aims to provide free, high-quality drinking water to Vallarta residents, athletes, visitors, and workers in high-traffic areas throughout the municipality.
Public Drinking Fountains
Seven modern drinking fountains will be installed in the city. These include three at the Agustín Flores Contreras Sports Complex, one at the La Lija Cultural Center and Sports Module, one at the SEAPAL Vallarta headquarters, one at the Municipal Administrative Unit (UMA), and one on the Malecón (boardwalk). The Malecón project has already been discussed with residents and business owners in the city center as part of a dialogue and consensus-building process.
These modern systems will allow athletes, families, students, workers, and tourists to access free, fresh, and safe drinking water. In addition to promoting hydration, especially during the hot season, they will also help reduce expenses on bottled water and strengthen environmental awareness through the use of reusable containers.
