Hey beautiful people! Welcome back to the channel! Today I took you on a quick walk through one of Puerto Vallarta’s most vibrant and up-and-coming neighborhoods, the Versalles colonia!
Starting at the corner of Calle Roma and Avenida Francisco Medina Ascencio, the energy here hit me immediately. You have locals popping into Cafe vibes at Cafe Roma (they make an insane pizza, definitely check them out!), and all around me were kids headed to school, folks walking their dogs, and plenty of colorful street vendors calling out “Tacos? Tortas? Quesadillas?” the real Mexican street food experience right here on my walk!
As I strolled down Calle Roma, you can really feel the heartbeat of Versalles — a street that’s literally a mix of old heritage homes and brand-new condos, where young urban professionals live, play, and eat. This neighborhood has seriously transformed over the years from a quiet residential area into one of Puerto Vallarta’s coolest food and lifestyle spots.
Along the way I passed some incredible places you’ve got to try:
PASTA FRESCA RESTAURANTE BOUTIQUE – authentic Italian just steps from the route
Natureza Versalles, fresh, creative eats perfect for lunch
NUMŌH – elegant dinner spot with killer cocktails
Tuna Azul Versalles – seafood that locals rave about
BarbaCow Versalles – late-night tacos are an absolute must
Fluffy’s – Versalles – best brunch spot for weekend vibes
…and so many more hidden gems!
Beyond food, this walk gave me little snapshots of everyday life here, a tiny tienda selling fresh fruit, a daycare bustling with happy kids, neighbors chatting in shaded doorways, and sidewalk conversations blending Spanish laughter with the sounds of sizzling food. It felt like getting a real local’s view of Puerto Vallarta, not just the tourist map stuff.
Before I knew it, I hit Avenida Fluvial Vallarta, that is it! The whole walk was less than a kilometer, but wow… packed with character, color, and joy. Does not matter if you’re here for the food or just soaking up local life this little stretch in Versalles is Instagram gold and totally worth your next stroll.
