One of the most accessible hikes is the Mirador de la Cruz of Puerto Vallarta. Located right in downtown, it is quick and fun to add a climb up to the best view in Puerto Vallarta into your vacation plans.

One of the simple tips for hiking to Mirador de la Cruz that will make it much easier is to take your time and snap some photos on the climb up the stairs. This will help you save your energy and give you plenty of stunning pictures to take home as memories. For hiking to Mirador de la Cruz are to bring some water and wear sturdy shoes since all the roads are uphill.

This is an excellent hike through the cobblestone streets of Puerto Vallarta and then up a series of steps to the top of Cerro de la Cruz. The view is incomparable and worth the effort. Consider going early to avoid the more intense midday and afternoon heat. The route is very short, and it is all paved, but it is not suitable for strollers due to its many steps. Randonnée au sommet de Puerto Vallarta

0

Puerto Vallarta Day of Holy Kings

0

Epiphany, also known as the Day of Holy Kings (Día de los Santos Reyes), is celebrated on January 6 in remembrance of the biblical story of the three kings’ visit to Jesus.

Even though Day of the Holy Kings falls on Saturday, January 6, 2024, it is a working day. Most businesses follow regular opening hours in Mexico.

Christians believe that 3 kings or wise men visited Jesus as a child.

In addition to getting presents from baby Jesus on Christmas Eve, Mexican children receive gifts from the three wise kings (Reyes Magos) on January 6. Streets in major cities are packed with food stalls, gifts, and outdoor parties. It is also customary to eat Rosca de Reyes, which is a wreath-shaped fruity bread baked with a figure of baby Jesus inside.

The Day of the Holy Kings is a religious observance and not a federal public holiday in Mexico. Access to streets in some cities and towns may be difficult for vehicles due to Epiphany related festivities on January 6.

About the Day of the Holy Kings

Christians believe that three kings (or wise men) – Melchor, Gaspar and Baltazar – visited the child Jesus and presented him with gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh. This Epiphany story is celebrated in churches across Mexico and worldwide.

Three Kings’ Day is celebrated on January 6, so many families share the traditional Three Kings Day on the night of January 5 or that same day. This 2024 Three Kings Day falls on a Saturday

The city of Barcelona is preparing to receive their Majesties Melchior, Gaspar and Baltasar in the long-awaited Three Kings Parade next Friday, January 5, 2024. Barcelona City Council has announced details about the schedule and route of the magical parade.

The appearance of the Three Wise Men occurs exactly in the Gospel according to Matthew 2, 1-12, where it is reported that King Herod, after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea, was concerned about the appearance of wise men from the East who asked where The King of the Jews had been born.

These ideas have been added to popular tradition over the centuries. According to the Catholic religion, these men were representatives of pagan religions from neighboring towns who came to recognize that the child born in a stable was, truly, the Son of God.

Give your wedding party any label you want, it is your day, after all, and you can be as traditional or nontraditional as you feel. They could be your “bridesmen” or “men-of-honor.” Likewise, grooms may appoint “grooms women,” “grooms maids,” or “best women.”

LGBTQ Vacations in Puerto Vallarta – Riviera Nayarit https://promovisionpv.com/lgbtq-vacations-in-puerto-vallarta-riviera-nayarit/

Every wedding is unique just like every couple and reinterpreting tradition to create a day that feels like yours is the best part of planning a wedding. For LGBTQ+ couples, including those who do not identify as “bride” and “groom,” navigating dated, gendered etiquette rules around fashion, invitations, budgets, wedding parties, and other wedding-day details can add unnecessary stress to the planning process.

Do not assume you have to do a wedding a certain way because it is common or familiar, do it your way and you will never regret it!. Your wedding can be whatever connects to you and your partner. This is the magic of telling your individual love story. Be confident in what brings you and your partner joy, and bring guests along on that experience.

We have done many other Gay Weddings but are private. I will post a link soon, for more inspiration.

It is your wedding, you get to pick how you are referred to during the ceremony and after! Some couples opt to refer to each other as their “spouse” or “partners” and gendered terms can be worked out of the ceremony (i.e. “You may now kiss your partner,” “You may now kiss,” or “I now pronounce you equally wed”). You can also create your own combination of the terms.

Puerto Vallarta Renovated Los Muertos Pier

0
Los Muertos Peir

A must see attraction. Los Muertos is certainly the favorite and most traditional beach of the people of Puerto Vallarta. Getting there is fairly easy. Walk along the Malecon, cross the pedestrian bridge over the Cuale River, and continue past Lazaro Cárdenas Park.

All About Puerto Vallarta https://promovisionpv.com/all-about-puerto-vallarta/

Don’t miss the view of the emblematic pier in the distance, with its sail over the sea and multicolored night lights. In 2023, the Los Muertos Pier will celebrate its 10th Anniversary, having been renovated and refurbished. The pier is used to board pangas and water taxis if you want to visit the beaches south of Puerto Vallarta.

The hustle and bustle of local families gathering around Los Muertos Pier is a constant presence throughout the year. Still, the beach is wide and long enough to find a good spot, whether you want to relax in the sun or enjoy a snack from vendors offering grilled fish and shrimp, fresh Tehua oysters, delicious sliced mangoes and cucumbers seasoned with salt, lime and chili, or a thirst-quenching tuba. There are also plenty of strolling musicians who play traditional Mexican tunes for a tip.

The pier, with its strategic location in the middle of Old Vallarta as known as the Romantic Zone has become an important attraction for Francisca Rodríguez street and the surrounding area where both the streets and pedestrian access has been considerably improved.

Boats can dock at the end of the pier and the pier is very functional with a lower ramp closer to the water for passengers embarking/disembarking on the various water taxis, fishing boats and other yachts, a very welcome feature after several years without a docking option in the area.

The beachfront is also home to prestigious fine dining restaurants serving international cuisine, cozy bars with a more casual and relaxed atmosphere, and spas and beauty shops to pamper yourself. On Saturday mornings between November and April, visit the nearby Olas Altas Farmer’s Market and pick up some supplies for your day at the beach.

The southern end of Playa Los Muertos is known for its popular beach clubs that cater to the LGBTQ+ crowd. It is also home to the original sculpture “The Boy on the Seahorse”, by Mexican master artist Rafael Zamarripa. This sculpture has been a worldwide icon of Puerto Vallarta since 1968.

Los Muertos Pier is a pier along Playa de los Muertos in Puerto Vallarta’s Zona Romántica, in the Mexican state of Jalisco. Completed in 2013, the structure replaced an older wooden pier depicted in the 1964 film The Night of the Iguana. It offers views of the Bay of Banderas and features a central metal structure which resembles a ship’s sail

Playa de Los Muertos … “Deadman’s Beach,” named for the bones of the local indigenous people found buried in the sand, or after the legendary pirate raids on the nearby village, it depends who you believe.
