Villa Oro was the champion of the International Charro Vallarta 2025
The team from Querétaro, Villa Oro was the champion of the International Charro Vallarta 2025, held at the Lienzo Miguel “Prieto” Ibarría, which showed off its stands packed with people who longed for this type of event, where tradition comes together with the sporting effort of the participants.
The Querétaro team achieved the amount of 463 points, surpassing by three points the El Soyate team of Pepe Aguilar, who in the morning competition added 460 points, this with a phenomenal pass of death performed with all the additional points by Asunción Sáenz of 33 points.
The other teams, Tamaulipecos finished with 387, those from Hierro Santo 346 and the Oaxacans from Cuenca del Papaloapan 320 good points.
The first final of the Vallarta 2025 International Championship was a roar, where, until the death, El Soyate took the honors by getting 460 points, surpassing by one point the national champions of the RG2 team, while the Tres Regalos had already finished with their 416 and the charros from La Romana lagged behind with their 301 points.
Regarding the escaramuzas, the members of the Regionales de San Juan del Río Querétaro were in 2nd place with 287 points, the ladies of Ribereña de Chapala with 285 good points and in 3rd place the Nayaritas from Rancho La Quinta with 282 points.
At the end, the prizes were given to the winners, which consisted of cash from the registration purse, as well as commemorative buckles for the ladies and individual champions, from the Ibarría family and members of the organizing committee. The judges of the event were also present, as representatives of the Mexican Charrería Federation.
