Airport Ritual : Lunch at Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. Before Heading Home
When it is time to head home from beautiful Puerto Vallarta, we always make sure to arrive at the airport early and not just to beat the crowds.
Our go-to spot is Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., and it’s become part of our travel tradition. It is the perfect place to relax, unwind, and soak in those last vacation vibes before boarding our flight.
The atmosphere here is fun and laid-back, with plenty of seating options whether you prefer the bar, a cozy booth, or a table with a view of the action. And the food? Classic comfort dishes done right exactly what you want before a long travel day.
One of the things we love most is the playful “Run Forrest Run” and “Stop Forrest Stop” signs at each table. Flip them over when you need something, or leave them be if you just want to kick back and enjoy your time, it is such a simple but brilliant touch.
There is also free Wi-Fi, so you can catch up on messages, check your flight, or share those last vacation photos.
