These awards recognize destinations, establishments, and experiences that receive a high number of outstanding reviews and ratings from the TripAdvisor travel community over a 12-month period.

Puerto Vallarta’s tourism offerings also stood out in other categories of the 2026 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
The Casa Velas hotel was ranked among the top ten hotels in Mexico, and the Gaviotas restaurant at the Sheraton Buganvilias hotel was among the top ten fine dining restaurants in the country.
The Los Veranos zipline tour and the Vallarta Food Tours culinary tour of downtown Puerto Vallarta were ranked among the top ten experiences in Mexico.
The awards bestowed upon Puerto Vallarta reflect the excellence of its offerings and the coordinated efforts of business owners, service providers, and collaborators in the tourism sector, whose commitment propels the destination as one of the main economic and tourism drivers of Jalisco and Mexico.
