The diversity of experiences offered by the state is one of its main strengths. Guadalajara stands out as a cultural, creative, and business hub, while Puerto Vallarta remains among the world’s most renowned beach destinations. For its part, Tequila showcases one of Mexico’s most iconic symbols to the world.
Jalisco’s rich tourism offerings are also evident in Costalegre, which is establishing itself as a world-class corridor on the Mexican Pacific coast, as well as in its 12 Pueblos Mágicos (Magical Towns), which enrich the state’s offerings with history, traditions, cultural heritage, and authentic experiences for national and international visitors.
Added to this is an identity that distinguishes Jalisco globally: the land of mariachi, Mexican gastronomy, the arts, traditions, and a wide range of events that enhance its appeal throughout the year.
“In the year that Jalisco welcomes the world as the most Mexican host of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™, this award reaffirms the strength of our tourism sector. Thanks to our visitors, business owners, service providers, and all the people who, with their talent and commitment, make it possible for us to proudly say today that Jalisco is Mexico,” added the Secretary of Tourism.
