30TH ANNIVERSARY EVENT PROGRAM
The 30th edition of the International Gourmet Festival arrives from November 13 to 23, 2025, in Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, and Tepic with a spectacular program that celebrates three decades of culinary excellence!
We begin with a Grand Opening at TierraLuna Gardens, where over 60 international and national chefs will ignite a magical evening filled with flavors, music, and the artistry of gastronomy. Over ten days, the region’s top restaurants will host guest chefs to present exclusive menus, while legendary events like the Gourmet Safaris in Puerto Vallarta, Punta de Mita, and Costa Sur offer unforgettable taste journeys.


The festival also features unique experiences such as the Great Wine Fiesta, the Chef’s Talk Show, the glamorous Night of Stars at Café des Artistes, and the LGBT-focused “Night of the Sea” at Almar Resort. The celebration concludes with the charming “Picnic Under the Parotas” in Tepic, honoring local ingredients and origin-based cuisine.

What is it
The Festival Gourmet International is a high-end, annual culinary festival in Mexico, centered in Puerto Vallarta but also spanning Riviera Nayarit and Tepic.
It started in 1995, making it one of the longest-running gourmet festivals in the country.
It takes place in venues across Puerto Vallarta, Riviera Nayarit, and Tepic — many participating restaurants host special menus, plus other standalone events (wine tastings, dinners, etc.) are scheduled at different locations.
What to Expect
Here’s what the festival usually offers:
Special Menus: Participating restaurants design exclusive menus in collaboration with invited guest chefs.
Number of Chefs & Restaurants: For the 2025 edition, over 60 chefs (local and international) and 30 restaurants are involved.
Side Events: Some of the featured events include:
Opening gala or “Grand Opening” in scenic gardens.
Gourmet Safaris: visiting multiple restaurants in one evening.
Wine & pairing dinners, Chef’s tables (more intimate meals with chefs).
Special nights — e.g. “Night of the Stars,” themed dinners, brunches by the sea.
Cost & Logistics
Cost depends heavily on which event you pick: simple dinners in restaurants might be more affordable, while gala dinners, chef’s tables, safaris etc. tend to be pricey. For instance, in previous editions, some theme dinners ran from around MXN $1,800 to $2,800 (and possibly more depending on wine, exclusivity, etc.)
Reservations are typically required well in advance for many of the special events and for restaurants participating in the festival.
Venues are spread out: sometimes in Puerto Vallarta, sometimes in Riviera Nayarit or even in Tepic. So factor in travel or lodging depending on which events you want.

It is a great opportunity to try creative cuisine (fusion of local Mexican + international techniques), meet or taste the work of celebrated chefs, and enjoy wine pairings, high-end dinner settings, etc.
