Citrus fruits are a group of fruits from the genus Citrus, known for their distinctive thick, leathery rind and juicy, segmented, acidic pulp. Common examples include oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits, but there are many varieties, hybrids, and sub-types. These fruits, native to Asia and Australia, are widely consumed globally for their refreshing taste, fragrant oils, and nutritional value, particularly their high vitamin C content and antioxidants.

Common Citrus Fruits
Oranges: Sweet, juicy, and versatile, used fresh and for juice.
Lemons: Known for their sharp, acidic flavor, used to flavor food and drinks.
Limes: Smaller than lemons and typically more tart, used in cooking, desserts, and drinks.
