Vallarta Pride 2025: A Celebration of Love and Equality
Vallarta Pride, the most exciting Pride celebration in Mexico, is just around the corner. Puerto Vallarta welcomes you with open arms to celebrate love, equality and diversity in the most colorful way possible.
The annual edition of Vallarta Pride, to be held the week of May 17-25, presents Sun & the Beach as its theme, where the heart of pride beats to the rhythm of the waves and the energy of the sun.
Prepare yourself for an entire week of love, joy and LGBTQ+ Pride on the beautiful beaches of Puerto Vallarta, with a wide variety of sports, cultural and entertainment events, including the Pride Parade.
Puerto Vallarta is the leading beach destination for the LGBTQ+ community in all of Latin America. An estimated 22,000 people, mostly from Mexico, the United States and Canada, are expected to attend during the week of Vallarta Pride.
Vallarta Pride will also attract groups of visitors from England, Spain, Finland and the Czech Republic. This confirms the friendly, inclusive and multicultural vocation of a unique city like Puerto Vallarta.
Puerto Vallarta loves its LGBTQ+ visitors. And LGBTQ+ visitors love Puerto Vallarta. The “Friendliest City in the World” is the only tourist destination in Latin America to have its own gay district, located in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta.
During the Vallarta Pride, to be held the week of May 17-25, Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone will be the epicenter of LGBTQ+ Pride celebrations.
In addition to the famous Los Muertos Beach, the “Gay Beach of Mexico”, the Puerto Vallarta Gay District includes more than 70 gay-owned or gay-friendly establishments, including: hotels, restaurants, nightclubs, theaters, cabarets, art galleries, bars, boutiques, hair salons, spas, saunas, coffee shops, and more.
Many of Vallarta Pride special events will be held in these establishments. All of them have staff trained in LGBTQ+ visitor services, as well as best practices for discrimination prevention and quality service in a safe and inclusive environment for all people.
Puerto Vallarta is an award-winning destination with international recognition. It was named Beach Destination of the Year in the LGBTQ+ Travel Awards Mexico 2023 and the Gay Travel Awards.
Puerto Vallarta has also been included in prestigious rankings like Pride Trending Destinations Year after Year, Condé Nast Traveler’s World’s Best Small Cities, and the only destination in Latin America to be included in the top 15 of Airbnb’s Best LGBTQ+ Destinations.
