Guided bird tours at the Vallarta Botanical Garden
The Vallarta Botanical Garden is a prime birding location nestled in the beautiful Cabo Corrientes that is not to be missed. A visit to the bird feeders is always fun and often yields Green Jays, San Blas Jays and more. Flocks of Orange-fronted Parakeets fly by daily. The hummingbird feeders and floral gardens attract several species including the Sparkling-tailed Woodstar, Golden-crowned Emerald, and Mexican Hermit.

After many ups and downs, and an ongoing effort we have donated three nest boxes to the Santuario de las Guacamayas, organized a lot of birding tours, recorded well over 350 bird species, and observed crocodiles, whales, dolphins and other local marine animals during the festival.
