The international brand AIC Hotel Group unveiled an ambitious expansion plan with the creation of UNICO Hotel Collection, which will include a new hotel in Puerto Vallarta, scheduled to open in fall 2025. The company boasts that it “will mark a significant milestone in the luxury accommodation offering in this charming city, famous for its stunning natural beauty and rich culture.”
This announcement follows UNICO 20°87° Riviera Maya’s sustained success for seven years in the all-inclusive resort segment, especially for adults. Leonel Reyes, Director of Latin America for RCD Hotels, emphasized that this growth responds to the growing demand from couples and groups of adults seeking personalized and exclusive experiences in luxury destinations.
“Our unique approach is to provide unforgettable service, complemented by amenities that reflect the local cultural richness and high-quality cuisine.”
He added that guests of UNICO 20°105° Puerto Vallarta—as the property will be called—will enjoy first-class services, including a distinctive gastronomic offering, creative mixology, and experiences designed to explore the region’s traditions and surroundings. “Each UNICO Hotel Collection property will strive to integrate local culture with a relaxed and luxurious lifestyle, providing an authentic and unparalleled experience.”
Located between the sea and the mountains, the new hotel will feature a spectacular rooftop pool, and the firm assures that it will contribute to consolidating Puerto Vallarta as a premier destination in the luxury tourism industry.
Seven years after the opening of the all-inclusive UNICO 20°87° Hotel Riviera Maya, AIC Hotel Group announced the expansion of its Unico Hotel Collection portfolio to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
The Unico 21°105° Puerto Vallarta hotel is scheduled to open in the fall of 2025. Unico includes the latitude and longitude coordinates in the name of each of its resorts.
Unico 21°105° Puerto Vallarta will offer 141 rooms with panoramic views of Banderas Bay, four restaurants and bars, one fitness center, spa/wellness amenities, and four pools (including one on the rooftop).
Unico’s expansion to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, represents “a step forward” for the hotel consortium, according to Ash Tembe, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for AIC Hotel Group.
“Our approach resonates with guests and distinguishes us in the all-inclusive segment with a level of service rarely seen in the industry,” Tembe stated.
AIC Hotel Group manages sales and marketing for luxury properties in the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean, including hotels and resorts with brands such as Eden Roc, Nobu, and Hard Rock.
