Puerto Vallata Happy New Year Tradition. Puerto Vallarta lit up the night sky in spectacular fashion during the 2026 Fireworks & Drone Show
Each year this event gets bigger and better, and this year did not disappoint. Fireworks were launched from multiple points around the bay, creating a breathtaking 180-degree display that reflected off the ocean and framed the entire coastline. Watching from up high made all the difference giving a perfect view of the synchronized bursts lighting up Vallarta from end to end.
For nearly ten unforgettable minutes, the sky was alive with color, sound, and excitement. Adding to the magic, this year also featured a drone show, blending modern technology with classic fireworks to create glowing patterns and shapes dancing above the bay.
This is one of those Puerto Vallarta moments that never gets old warm night air, the sound of fireworks echoing across the water, and the entire city looking up together. If you’ve never seen this show from above, put it on your must-do list for next year.
