Being out on the Burton before sunrise is a whole different vibe, quiet water, city lights fading behind you, and then that moment when the sun starts climbing over the Sierra Madre Mountains. Absolute magic.
We had not even fully settled into the rhythm of the morning before the rods started bending. It was one of those days where the fish were ready to play right away. Spanish mackerel flashing in the early light, skip jacks putting up a fast, feisty fight, and bonita keeping everyone moving. Action from the start, no waiting around, just steady excitement.
Days like this are why we love being on the water. Great company, steady bites, and that unbeatable Bay of Banderas backdrop. A fun day for sure and always a good reminder that there’s no better place to be than offshore at sunrise.
