Puerto Vallarta Wins Awards at Travvy Awards

The Travvy Awards honor and recognize the best in the travel industry in the United States and Canada.

Puerto Vallarta is celebrating after winning in four categories for which it was nominated for the 2024 Travvy Awards. These awards are the highest recognition in the United States travel industry and reflect excellence at an international level, honoring the best in the tourism field.

Awarded by TravelPulse and AGENTatHOME, the Travvy Awards recognize the industry’s leading suppliers: destinations, hotels, cruise lines, airlines and tour operators, among others. The editorial teams of these publications decide the nominees and their audience of travel advisors votes to choose the winners.

In this tenth edition of the Travvy Awards, the awards that Puerto Vallarta received from more than 500 travel industry professionals were:

Best Destination in Mexico
Best Gastronomic Destination in Mexico
Best Honeymoon Destination in Mexico
Best Tourism Office in Mexico

As is tradition, the awards ceremony was held at the Greater Fort Lauderdale Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is worth noting that this is the third consecutive year that the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust has been awarded as the best tourism office in Mexico.

“These awards are a testament to the excellence and versatility that it has as a tourist destination. Puerto Vallarta continues to captivate travelers and industry professionals alike with its varied cultural and entertainment options, rich culinary scene and romantic atmosphere ideal for weddings and honeymoons on the beach,” said Luis Villaseñor, of the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Trust, upon receiving the awards on behalf of the destination.

This recognition by industry professionals reaffirms the quality of the tourism product offered by Puerto Vallarta, the brand penetration and the great work carried out by business partners throughout the value chain in the destination to provide the best experiences and services to visitors.
