Puerto Vallarta Promotes Meeting Tourism

From September 3 to 5, the destination will make courtesy visits to 30 event organizer offices.

As part of the efforts of the Tourism Trust with the objective of continuing to gain visibility of the Puerto Vallarta brand in the meetings industry of our country, its Groups and Conventions Directorate and members of the destination’s meeting tourism cluster traveled to Mexico City to prospect business opportunities with the main event organizers of the country’s capital.

During these visits, the holding of congresses, conventions, expos, incentive trips, team building, product launches and sporting events in Puerto Vallarta is being promoted, letting them know the competitive advantages of the destination, including its security, a greater attendance compared to other cities and the wide network of professionals who guarantee successful events.

This network – which includes all the necessary supplies for the realization of large events – forms a team with the hotel industry and authorities of the destination, which allows for the generation of the best experiences by having all the facilities for the use of the best venues and emblematic public spaces of the city, such as its boardwalk, Plaza de Armas, the art district, among others.

In addition to the Groups and Conventions Department of the destination, the promotion teams are made up of hotels, as well as receiving agencies, tour companies and the group representation agency for Puerto Vallarta, PTG (Preferred Travel Group).

Through these teams, we seek to generate coverage of the main agencies located in Mexico City that manage corporate events and associations, seeking to materialize business opportunities for hotels and the Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center.
