Puerto Vallarta has inaugurated an Office of Sexual Diversity
Vallarta has inaugurated its new headquarters in Lázaro Cárdenas Park, also known as “Los Azulejos Park.” This change of facilities seeks to provide a safe and welcoming space for the LGBTQ+ community and has the support of Mayor Luis Munguía.

Héctor Ramírez Betancourt, renowned activist and head of the Office of Sexual Diversity, emphasized that this new space offers a variety of specialized services for the LGBTQ+ community. “We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming space for our community, and this new space is an important step toward achieving this goal,” he expressed.
Among the services offered at the new headquarters are:
Legal advice from attorneys specializing in issues related to sexual diversity.
Psychological support from professionals trained to address the specific needs of the LGBTQ+ community.
Tourist information so visitors can enjoy the city and its attractions in a safe and welcoming manner.
The new headquarters of the Office of Sexual Diversity will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is expected to be a meeting and support space for Puerto Vallarta’s LGBTQ+ community.
Mayor Luis Munguía highlighted the importance of having safe and welcoming spaces for the LGBTQ+ community and pledged to continue working to guarantee the rights and inclusion of this community in the city.
The inauguration of the new headquarters of the Office of Sexual Diversity is an important step toward strengthening inclusion and diversity in Puerto Vallarta and is expected to be of great benefit to the city’s LGBTQ+ community.
