Puerto Vallarta during Christmas. Tonight we are taking a relaxed walk through Puerto Vallarta during the Christmas season, and the city is absolutely glowing.
Right here in the central square along the Malecón, the holiday lights transform this space into something really special. Christmas trees sparkle in every direction, wrapped in colorful lights, ornaments, and decorations that reflect off the palm trees and the ocean breeze.
Families are out strolling, kids are stopping to admire the displays, and there’s that unmistakable festive energy in the air. You can hear music drifting through the square, street performers nearby, and the sound of waves just beyond the lights.
As we continue toward the pier, the Christmas decorations blend perfectly with the coastal setting. It’s not your typical winter holiday scene no snow, no cold but instead warm nights, ocean air, and tropical Christmas lights shining over Banderas Bay.
The pier itself becomes part of the celebration, glowing against the dark water, with reflections dancing below. It’s one of those moments that reminds you how unique Christmas feels here in Puerto Vallarta traditional holiday spirit mixed with a laid-back beach town vibe.
Whether you are visiting for the holidays or just dreaming about it, this is Puerto Vallarta at its most magical warm, welcoming, and beautifully lit for the season.
