The destination scores another international event so far this year, establishing itself as a leader in meeting tourism.

The Puerto Vallarta International Convention Center is hosting the XVII International Course of the Glaucoma’s Mexican College -which began on July 24 and ends tomorrow, July 27-, whose objective is to explore the latest innovations in the diagnosis, treatment and management of glaucoma, a prevalent eye disease that affects millions of people globally.

Events of this nature reveal Puerto Vallarta’s capacity to host meetings of international relevance. The event has brought together more than 400 ophthalmology experts from throughout the Mexican Republic, Canada, the United States, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina, generating an estimated economic benefit of 33 million pesos for the destination.
