The Mexico Open at Vidanta has been characterized as a tournament that provides Latin American players with opportunities on the PGA TOUR. In its first two editions, the tournament hosted 31 golfers from the area, six of whom were Amateurs.

Published price is $125, plus tax, plus $20 per person caddy fee for a previously designed Nicholas course, changed by Vidanta to build new hotels, gondola towers, and whatever else the owners decide.
