Exhibition of Sculptures of Emblematic Hats of the Magical Towns of Jalisco, in the central patio of the Municipal Palace.
The exhibition consists of 20 hats, each one representative of the Alteños Towns of Jalisco, including one that represents Puerto Vallarta as host. The objective is to promote Puerto Vallarta and the towns of Los Altos de Jalisco, at a local, national and international level, through this traveling exhibition.
We cover Puerto Vallarta with culture and tradition, with past, present, future and transcendence. The exhibition of sculptures of emblematic hats takes as its starting point the charro hat, which in itself represents Mexican folklore as it is the fundamental and indispensable figure in the typical clothing of our Mexican charros,”
“The tireless desire to promote our traditions is the most beautiful of ports and by being faithful witnesses of the cultural wealth of the towns that make up Los Altos de Jalisco, we do not stop or spare resources, since the true wealth of our country is ours. people, our roots, our natural beauties and our creation. On this occasion, the charro hat is the vehicle through which we can enjoy the various influences that define us today.”
In Los Altos de Jalisco, some traditions are preserved that are reflected in these hats and by bringing them to Puerto Vallarta, one of the most important destinations in the country, promotion is sought on a very important platform. He indicated that the exhibition will last a month and then there will be a tour through the center of the country, after which it will return to Guadalajara for the national holidays.
Director of Tourism and Economic Development of Puerto Vallarta, highlighted that the exhibition of “these works of art” constitutes “one more example that our state and our destination have roots, culture and we must project it to the whole world.”
