The US airline will increase its frequencies to the Mexican destination and aircraft capacity from four cities.
In response to growing demand for travel to Puerto Vallarta from various cities in the United States, Delta Airlines announced increases in frequencies to the destination starting in May from Atlanta (+1.5%), Los Angeles (+6.2%) and Salt Lake City (+5.35%), that is, there will be two daily flights from the latter two cities.
Additionally, starting in January 2026, travelers will have more seats available to escape the winter cold from Detroit (+1.5%) and another slight increase from Atlanta (0.1%). In addition to the aforementioned cities, the airline flies to Puerto Vallarta from Minneapolis and Seattle, for a total of six routes with a combined average of approximately 200 monthly frequencies currently.
