Playa Los Muertos
Address: Romantic Zone (Zona Romantica)
Pros: Most famous and iconic beach in Puerto Vallarta, right in the Romantic Zone (Zona Romántica).
Excellent for people-watching, beach clubs, restaurants, nightlife, and sunset views.
Convenient access; virtually walkable from many downtown hotels.
Cons: Very crowded and busy, especially midday and during holidays.
Persistent beach vendors and music can make it noisy.
Swimming conditions vary — waves and currents can be stronger at times.

Pros: Beautiful and more picturesque and tranquil setting just south of Los Muertos.
Clearer water, natural rock formations, and tide pools make it good for snorkeling and swimming.
Less crowded than main city beaches.
Cons: Rocky entry and uneven sand in places water shoes recommended.
Limited services (few amenities directly on the beach).

Playa Amapas
Pros: Small, calm beach located below the Amapas hillside very peaceful.
