Canadian airlines’ commitment to Puerto Vallarta continues to grow. Air Canada has announced its new route from Calgary for the 2026-2027 winter season, bringing Canada’s largest airline in terms of passenger traffic to four direct routes to Puerto Vallarta: Montreal, Toronto, Vancouver, and soon, Calgary.
The new Air Canada Calgary (YYC) – Puerto Vallarta (PVR) flight will operate three times a week on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, from December 10, 2026, to April 10, 2027, using Boeing 737 MAX 8 aircraft with a capacity of between 162 and 189 passengers, depending on the airplane configuration. This represents an average of 2,000 additional seats per month to Puerto Vallarta from Canada.
